Impact: to have effect on.
As a child, my curiosity got me in trouble. To the point where my parents would say, “Okay Katie, that’s enough questions for the day.” I laugh about it now. So curious about life, how it works and what it means. I am only beginning to put the pieces together, but I know that without the influence of others who once asked themselves the same questions, I would not be who I am today.
The people I have met, the places I have been and the things I have done are all part of my story. So Wanderfully-Made is getting a makeover because I want to share my experiences with you all. Welcome to my journey. Where you’ll find a mind full of curiosity, enjoyment in the little things and a heart full of passions.
Here’s what you can expect:
Oils, Young Living Essential Oils. And other words from my journey toward a chemical-free life. What things do I avoid? How do I avoid them? Why oils? This also includes the food changes I have made and other wellness practices I set in place.
Wisdom. Wisdom from a 22-year-old? Yep. I am a believer that you can learn from everyone, you just need an open heart and two ears to listen (eyes in this case.) My questions haven’t stopped and I now have the resources to explore the answers myself. The beauty of growing up is being able to make your own decisions that build who you are. Knowing that I will change throughout the entirety of my life is pretty cool too.
DIY. Because my non-toxic lifestyle has made it harder to find products that I trust. So, I head to the kitchen with own ingredients and my favorite essential oils and get to work. You’ll see the good, the bad and my ugly attempt at making bath bombs.
Recommendations. My curiosity has taken me down a path of exploring our consumption problem. We live in a society that values convenience and instant gratification to the point that our naturally beautiful world has been used and abused. Including the people in it. I search for ways to support fair wages, sustainability and responsible business practices. I won’t dwell on the negative, but rather share with you some awesome people doing awesome things.
Adventure. Places near and far have given me new perspectives and opened my mind. Within the presence of God’s green earth is where I find true joy and a peace rushes over me when I finds new places and explore different cultures. I also believe adventure doesn’t have to be extravagant. I believe adventure can be found wherever you smile a little wider, wander a little deeper and feel your heart skip a few beats.
Well-being. Well-said. Well-made. Well-done. Well-traveled.
Here’s the disclaimer:
I am not an expert. I am not attempting to be one. Just a woman combining her passion for blogging and life.
I invite you on my journey with the hope that you may learn from me and I may learn from you. I hope to create impact. To start a conversation with others and in your own mind. Because your story is beautiful too.
Love & Stuff,
KT
Happy about this!
